With 105+ combined years as educators working with children and adults with moderate to severe disabilities in a variety of settings, the team at SDES has created the only COMPREHENSIVE, evidence-based Functional Academics Program that is implementable with complete fidelity.

The Program is uniquely STUDENT-BASED while addressing State Standards.

With the addition of FLIGHT, SDES has created the first and only automated, online data collection solution with true data rigor for special education where none existed before.

The Program is simple to implement, is both time and cost-effective, and includes unparalleled levels of customer support and training to ensure teacher, para, peer, administrator, and most importantly, student success.

Scheduling Tip

Find a student in your classroom who can read and understand your master schedule. Assign them a job in the morning to help set up individual student schedules. See the video of Megan setting up the schedule.

Suzanne’s student Megan was her Teacher’s Assistant first period during her junior and senior year. One of her jobs, among other clerical tasks, was to set up individual student schedules. It saved Suzanne prep time in the morning and was a great vocational experience for Megan.
